Why now?
Frontier AI has collapsed the cost of multidisciplinary engineering. A small team can now design mechanics, electronics, controls, and software together, then distill general intelligence into compact models. At the same time, sensors, actuators, and edge compute have become affordable. Specialization used to mean expensive custom engineering. AI turns it into a repeatable product loop.
What is the true value?
Vitrus does not simply make cheaper robots or smaller models. We turn a physical method into an executable system: the model understands the bounded world, the machine fits the work, and VitrusOS enforces limits and records evidence. The value is making complex physical work—experiments, testing, inspection, assembly, and production—programmable, repeatable, and continuously improvable.
What is the moat in the age of AI?
AI models will commoditize. Physical learning will not. Every Vitrus workflow produces linked knowledge across domain methods, machine designs, controls, calibration, telemetry, failures, and outcomes. That evidence improves the next model and machine. The moat is the closed loop: an installed execution layer, a growing library of verified physical workflows, and a design system that gets faster with every deployment.
